Dungeness & the RH&DR was already on the bucket list & it would be great to do it in the company of Funsters.

Sadly, the band is booked for a birthday party on that Saturday night. I can't even consider a stand-in, because the party is for two friends of both the band & of me personally - one of them is an ex-next-door-neighbour who was the best neighbour one could ever wish for.

So have a great time & while you are there, get next year's meet organised & I'll book early for 2015. :thumb:

This was my home area before Wales. 10 minutes walk to the high street of New Romney and 10 mins walk to the beach of Greatstone. Take the light railway to Dungeness or Hythe. Dungeness has a cafe by the lighthouse and pleanty of shops and cafes in Hythe. Its a lovely place to visit and you will enjoy it. Believe Sainsburys has been built at the top of the Avenue. :thumb:

Always a problem - how to write the plural of an abbreviation without making it look like something else.

I usually capitalise the abbreviation; e.g. PCs, PMs RCBs EHUs etc

Thank you, I did not know of the Pedal Car Museum. I wonder if they have a jeep and trailer, I did, have to take a photo with us and see.
