Hi
Does anyone tow a trailer with their camper for extra equipment etc?

are there any pitfalls I should be aware of around europe

short n sweet

thanks in advance

No problem towing anywhere in Europe but you will need somewhere to park it on your pitch.
Smaller pitch may be a problem.
You may be charged a higher rate on toll roads and ferries/tunnel

750 kg gross can be unbraked, over this size needs brakes. Just need to check your train weight. The small trailers disappear out of sight and can be awkward to reverse as unsighted. Can put some rubber arm light on the side so you can see where it is.

I occasionally use one for swmbo's heavy mobility scooter. The only issue is visibility and the fact that small trailers are harder to reverse accurately than a 45 ft Artic!

We have a 350kg box trailer that we have used a few times on longer trips. Really useful and we have never had an issue with pitches.

A reversing camera makes reversing easier, especially with a narrow trailer and a wide van.

Oh, and if you stop overnight in a layby, and need to unhitch the trailer to squeeze in the space, don't forget it when you drive off in the morning. And don't ask how I know :banghead:

I often drive artics. they are easy to reverse as long as pace is Available.

I occasionally use a small camping trailer Behind my Shogun, nits not hard to reverse, it’s all but impossible.
