I am looking for a covered trailer to attach to a camper van that would be large enough to hold a Kawasaki/Yamaha 450 cc moto-cross bike. Does anyone have any information, please?

a new unbraked 7x5 box trailer can be bought for around £1000 upwards. braked from about £1500

just make sure your licence allows your towing a trailer behind the weight of your motorhome, as some dont realise this can be an issue

There are always plenty for Saale on eBay. I use a single axle box trailer that has 1400kg rating. Used to carry a big BMW tourer in it. I prefer single axles, as the trailers are then much more manoeuvrable by hand when you are tucking them away into the corners of pitches.

Mine is an Ifor Williams, Paid a £1000 for it ten years ago, it would fetch that easily today.

I wanted a small box trailer but the used ones just looked too used for the price and the nice ones seem to go for nearly new price so I purchased a new " Conway" 750kg unbraked 7 foot long and they delivered it freshly made from the factory in Manchester for little more that the round trip price of fuel for me.

Great little trailer tows a treat :thumb:
