TRACKER FOR MOTORHOME AND SCOOTER? (1 Viewer)

Hi we have been thinking about a tracker for the motorhome for a while but we don't want to tie ourselves into an expensive yearly contract.

Our grandson Sam has just bought a 125 scooter so he can get to college and again we are thinking about a tracker, not just in case it gets stolen but so we know where he is.

There are lots on eBay but can someone explain how they work. There is a sim included but does it have to be connected to a network and what charges apply. I want to buy Sam one for his birthday but I want to buy something which will do the job. Any help gratefully appreciated.
