Towing with A-frame (1 Viewer)

Have just had Armitage A-frame fitted to my fairly old Micra (R-Reg). However, when I turn right the car seems to judder and rock side to side. Armitage can't help without seeing problem and can't get back there yet. Anyone else had problems like this?

Ok will start with the daft ones..

Is the steering lock off

Is the A-Frame on centrally

Is the brake/break away cable snagging anywhere

Could some one sit in the car (not on public road) and see what it feels like in the tow car.

Check the wear on front wheels of toad, Tell tale wear/scrubbing can tell you a lot.


We tow on a Electronic A-Frame and have not heard of this problem. Only one we had when we left in gear and it bunny hopped a few feet behing us.
