An appeal to those that tow.....debating with myself about towing and whether it should be with an A frame or car on a trailer.
Am well aware of the issues in Spain in regard to A frames but still see a more being towed than cars on trailers.
Any particular models favourite for towing?
Thoughts please..

As well as Spain A frames are definitely illegal in Germany and also France is apparently making plans to go down the same route.

If you intend to spend time abroad with your tow car a trailer would be the better plan.

Caravan since 1970, motorhome or RV since 1999 then back to a caravan in 2017.
We tow a 2006 Smart ForFour on an eBrakes A Frame in this country. I note your avatar shows a tandem axle so, even if your license is OK, you need to check that your MH has the towing ability. Subtract the Max Permisable Weight of the MH from the Maximum Train Weight and that gives you the weight that you can tow - remember that, when they stop you, VOSA will always use the Maximum Plated Weights of MH and 'trailer' regardless of the actual weights!
