Just back from Watling Engineering in St Albans after having the towbar fitted to my van. looks like a good job, nice and tidy - at £585 inc it should be. However, when I asked for a lift to town, they said they could not do it but there was a bus stop just up the road. Good job I have a bus pass :ROFLMAO: Ready to tow the Smartcar now :thumb:

Do motorhomes have to have type approved tow bars as cars do now ?

They are excluded from the need to have type approval, however if you were to have one fitted as an optional extra at the time of purchase of a new motohome it would usually be type approved.
