Can you give a bit more information? Its not an A-Frame, it's a Car converted to a Trailer - How does that work?

I have an Aygo just like that it was converted by

Its still a an A frame but with electronic braking works well.

@Stevang what connects the car to the tow hitch? Could you please provide a picture of the connection kit, an alternative to an A frame would be of interest.

@Stevang ... I don't want to upset you/your advert but it is STILL an a-framed car, regardless of what the company told you it will still not turn the car into a trailer for use abroad in countries where towing one car behind another is not permitted ... sorry.

Might be worth putting some more info about the car, ie which model etc and also mileage, service history etc.

Will come with 12 months mot.
This (a frame if you like) works like a trailer would ... it has all the requirements a trailer needs
The paperwork in different languages to explain this
So basically you turn your car into a trailer....

Yes its fine and electronically braked ,almost the same as ours on our Aygo .But i think you have been mislead by your supplier because it is most definately an A-frame.

This has been well covered on the forum.
Unfortunately, it is not going to a trailer irrespective of what your supplier told you.
It is a car on an A frame, unusable in several European countries including the sunny ones

Exactly the same as ours, supplied by Towbars2Towcars and is definitely an a-frame.

All A-Frames that I have seen and the 1 i had fitted use the lights from the car via the 7 or 13 pin plug that is used. This is not special to the dealer who has told you this.

Still i am sure someone will want it as it is still a pretty good price considering the cost of the A-Frame alone.

Scrap that as just checked the Reg and it shows £20 as you say so not sure what the seller is referring too (106 g/km on the CO2)

I do understand the posters misconception and misinformation I have the same documented paperwork

It implies that you are converting a car into a trailer quoting the Dept for transport wording Ie when attaching an A frame that they The DFT regard it as a trailer and it should comply with UK trailer law
The only down side is the greater parts of the EU dont agree

We have an Aygo on a 13 plate and it is tax exempt

On there website it says it is an electronically braked A Frame.
If it is now a trailer why have you got a sign in rear window saying TOW CAR.
Ask the supplier if he will give you written guarantee if you are stopped and fined on continent he will pay any costs and let us know the answer.
