We are our own worst enemy.

We cant abide sitting near a river/beach/ wood and walking through even glorious country side is a complete waste of time for us, to many trees and to much grass. We enjoy the scenery of course but we get that from simply driving along great roads.
Although we could walk for England around interesting towns and villages, museums etc..
We cannot sit for more than a few hours with out wanting to visit some where, any where, of interest.
Everyday we want (need) to visit some tourist attraction, be it a museum/ cathedral/old town.
Any suggestions? - any where in Europe or in the UK - that will keep us occupied for half a day or more.
