Could anyone advise , we don’t know the best place to head for, going to book ferry from Bari and unsure whether to sail to Patras or iguementisa , I am looking for good beaches, clean sea and small towns, also travelling with a rescue dog . Thanks in advance i

The Peloponnese are generally accepted as being the most beautiful and best beaches. Lots of archaeological sites too.

I second that. I would head for Patras and tour the Peloponnese you will find plenty of beachside camp sites.

We are in greece just now. Definitely head for the pelopennese loads more to see.
