Hi
I've been following various threads regarding the fitting of fridge fan so decided to have a look behind the vents. Behind the lower vent I found this (see pic).

I assume the large wire connecting block in the centre is for the 230V feed but where are the 12v wires/feed I can connect fans to?

Please reply slowly and clearly as I am not an electrical boffin! Lol
Thanks
regards
Nik.

I wouldn't expect to find mains wires in a connecting block as in the centre of your picture - it looks as if the label is saying 12 volt DC - but check with a meter or get someone to check it for you.

I would suggest that the 230 volt AC wires are to the left of the connecting block to which you refer and held by a cable clamp as seen in the picture.

If you have any doubt PLEASE get someone to check it for you.

The 5 terminal connecting block to the right of the picture will be the 12 volt in, it's marked + and - on the bottom two terminals, best check it with a meter though.
The wires that are in it probably go to the igniter and the internal light.
