Top gear folks

Scenery was brilliant
Let's be honest who wouldn't like to be in their shoes
Just for the rush

Let alone the money
Quite agree. Even though you know everything is staged it still makes me laugh :xgrin:

Just watched it............scenery is amazing;

Impressed with the Lotus as well..........

IMHO Clarkson is one of the most obnoxious, self centred prats on the TV and I would rather watch paint dry than sit in front of the telly when he is on.
Me too, I am only watching for the scenery, to see what happens to the Lotus and to hear that Mustang growl.
I quite like that May chap though.....

Well I guess it will be on our tv constantly for the next couple of days:xangry:, if there was a mute button for Clarkson I might, just might be able to watch it :xThumb::xlaugh:

Looking back, there was a time when if they broke down it was time to 'call in the chaps' to get stuff sorted out.
As they have become more adventurous they do seem to get their hands dirty a lot more.
Indeed, it was noted not so long ago by someone who was at some sort of 'do' with the hamster he actually had ingrained oil on his digits and definite signs of real car related working under the nails ( something anyone who chucks spanners around regularly will know is impossible to remove completely no matter HOW much you clean, scrape and scrub ! )

Yup! And I wish I could be just like that and have to suffer all the money, travel, big house, party's, cars, women, drink, great holidays, having to drive cars that people and companies lent me!

YUP........BRING IT ON :xThumb:

I do admire his honesty and balls to say what many are thinking though. I find him quite funny to be honest.

Love it, the scenery, 3 grown men living out a fantasy driving beautiful cars, acting daft and getting into some pretty genuine scrapes, oh and I like James Mays new haircut, it's not ment to be taken seriously.

If you were to add extremely clever to that you would be about right.

:cooler:

Alright, extremely clever, but still one of the most obnoxious, self centred prats on the TV

Politics, history and television are littered with extremely clever obnoxious, self centred prats.

An ex-colleague went to uni with J C.. Still socialises occasionally with him..
Reckons what we see is a carefully crafted television persona

On top gear maybe's...............look past that persona and watch some of the prog's he's presented, (and been heavily involved in) the Arctic Convoy sailors..........for all too long ignored by successive governments until very recently. (Loads of them were awarded medals by the Russians just after the war.............but they were forbidden to wear them by our own government when marching.)
His farther in law (I think) who won a medal at Armhem (Bridge Two Far)............Rivetting program about someone who, if it wasn't for JC, I'm thinking wouldn't have been made.

Yes, on top gear, he may go over the top................BUT look at the viewing figures..........he must be doing something right.

Well I don't like Clarkson even when he was a teenager he used to hang around with my brother he was a prat then we used to live in Mexborough near Doncaster
But I do like the other two and especially the hamster.
and should not be taken to serious a bit of a game love haght relationship I think all part of the plan
bill
