So with 7 step step ladder , extending brush , bucket and hose i managed to squeeze my 17st bulk through the roof light - like a fat cat getting through a cat flap to clean the roof off . Filthy it was but by contorting myself into positions that I haven’t done since before I was married I managed to get the vast majority off - defying the sudden lurch of the step ladder underneath me and the gusts of wind blowing the spray directly back at me .
