Just booking spring bank ten day tour to the lakes all sorted various sites need to find a one night stop tried Haven Lakeland £60 for one night!!! Don’t think so it would be cheaper to drive home and back

By "spring bank" do you mean "spring bank holiday" if so it might explain the price

I blame the people that pay it. If they had no customers they would have to reduce their prices.

Yep, it's called the law of supply & demand

Problem is demand is increasing as more & more caravans & campers are sold Supply is greatly diminished especially in this area as more & more sites change to static caravans or lodges only.
