Help wanted, on inputing Lat/Long how do you transfer to search. do you have to put a place name in first?

Hi

On my Go5000 once I have input the Long/lat and the unit has calculated the route you can go into search again Tap Whole map sign and select Near Destination to search in that area.

I use google earth to get lat/long then simply enter in tomtom as a destination.

Search > whole map > lat/long > go.

Earth will show far more map info than a tomtom screen.
