i seem to remember a tread a little while ago critising Tom Tom aftersales service. My tom tom died whilst in germany this year I had forgotten how to use a map. Back home I got onto the Tom Tom web site, described the problem and was advised to send the unit back. They sent me a prepaid royal mail package and 5 days later I received a replacement sat nav all at no charge, excellent service especially considering my original tom tom was 4 years old.
