I had an email from Tom Tom this morning with offers on maps!

Be careful with TomTom to make sure you can add 3rd party POIs. On some models you could not earlier this year so worth checking whether they have sorted it out properly now.

Best offer I got was Halfords click and collect. Not only was that a cheaper option than the shop price by a goodly margin, we also qualified for cash back as first-time customers.

Only problem was it didn't take 3rd party POIs as mentioned by GJH above, although I think there's been a recent firmware upgrade that may permit that now. Just haven't tried to download it yet.
