Do those little sachets dissolve OK in cold(ish) conditions?

As we try to empty whenever there's the opportunity (we wild camp) we use liquid bio and don't put much in at first and just add to it each day if necessary, the sachets are good for ease of use but expensive if you empty it regularly.

On and off for many years.
The cheapest bio you can get. Not the one with built in conditioner as that appears to coat the solids and the enzymes either don't work or are delayed in working.

If you are using the capsules then add one every day or two days if you have a very sensitive nose :)

oh dear(n)(n) - we all spend 60k plus on a motor-home and then scrimp on £10 for a bottle of blue. is blue any more detrimental to the environment to washing tabs?

Oh no we don'to_O I spent less than 1/2 that on a 6 year-old N+B. The 310 can go to something else that will give more pleasure than toilet stuff.

Anyway the Bio capsules are easy to slip in one's pocket - no fiddling with bottles/caps and lighter to carry.

Not all of us spend that sort of money on a MH, and even if we did it's not scrimping if we choose to use something else ... I can't stand the smell of the blue stuff anyway and it isn't environmentally friendly due to the chemicals in it. If you MUST use an Elsan product then the green organic one is the best as it won't damage septic tanks etc.

I prefer to add as little as possible to the cassette so as not to pollute the environment more than is necessary and find the smell of the bio washing liquid much nicer.

I know this is not in the spirit of the thread, but if you look around you can get different sorts of blue at far less than the market leaders, can't think off hand but there is one with a diamond on the label .

Well, I'm just a tight fisted Yorkshireman and can see absolutely no reason to pay more than necessary for anything in life. Maybe it is only £1, but if I can get the same for 50p then for me that is not scrimping but common sense. I have no problems paying whatever it costs for a product I WANT but I'm not about to give more than obliged. Yorkshireman's advice to his son "Never spend a penny where a 'alfpenny will do" never heard a better bit of advice in my life except that referring to yellow snow.
