I`ve got one of those, It was a freeby, courtesy of HMG to my Father Circa 1940.

Dump dump pump and dump away, you've paid a pretty penny for the privilege of not having to sit on a cold plastic pan that some overweight camper has pooped and not cleaned, that's why they're Motorhome's and not camper vans.

Use these......

Hmmm .... it might not be the actual bowel movement that concerns the Swtsmbo mentioned in the post but after I've crapped in my motorhome, even I have to go for a walk to allow the putrid air to dissipate. That's after emptying a can of something joking labeled with the statement "removes odours":sick:

There's a SOG for that!

We always use the loo but we wouldn't be without our SOG. The acid test being if SWMBO is preparing food and doesn't complain then nothing is escaping. We used a SOG for 8 summers in NZ but when we bought our present MH thought we might save some money as we wouldn't be living in it for so long. That idea lasted one use and the evacuation caused a general evacuation of the van as non-participants rushed outside. I even ordered the SOG before I got home. Yes I know I could make one but in the end it was just easier to buy it- must be getting old and lazy or perhaps getting some sense at last.
Over the years there has been some lively correspondence on the subject with, it seems to me, the most vociferous anti SOGers being those who haven't actually got one but who miraculously know how and why they aren't any good!

The point is the anti soggers are those who havent got one but have parked near someone who has one but hasnt realised the need to replace the filter.

Ok
Further to our 'discussion' tonite regarding said Toilet, having paid for a van with a toilet in it.......
Am i in the wrong to use it for number two's
Be careful how you answer
Swtsmbo says I shouldn't
I quite like using the on-board facilities
And it's me who empties it.....
Go for it folks.....
( I have been told to point out that we have facilities on site)
But...........
Back soon on loo...... may be a while....
Tell swtsmbo that she can make the rules when she empties said toilet.
