enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
Today i decided to fit an additional 240v socket. i was informed that it needed to be around the table area so some sort of gadget called an 'iron' ???? could be used when on hook up or via the inverter (Lithium battery on order!). I had a spare 240v socket that matches the existing electrical outlets (though i do need to buy a 'surround' to also match)

Simple enough job, ran the cable under the lounge (double) floor - though i did need to remove the heating duct outlet to make it easy to get the cable through.I will connect it into the main consumer unit when the new battery arrives and after that i can sort out the auto change over relay for on/off EHU

After (need to fit surround to the socket)

its a surround original to the Moho as I changed some sockets around, this one was in the TV cupboard, where the microwave now sits.

Errmmmm, sorry I’m a bit lost on this one, but I may just being fick again 😀🙄😇
No you're not being 'fick', but I daren't ask her what an iron is ... We're stopping overnight at Brownhills and I haven't topped up the water - oops - best get it sorted !!

Yep cheaper but not chrome
Yes, but none of them in the van are chrome they are all silver, so it made sense to keep it all consistent.
