I hope this type of thread hasn't been posted before, but recently Ive been trying a few different Gins. Im quite a whiskey or real ale guy but now have added Gin to my list.
If youve had a drink you have enjoyed please let us know.

I have recently bought a bottle of Tanqueray Gin so have been drinking it, and compared to my usual Gordons I'm well impressed, its a smoother flavor and is well worth the extra £2 a bottle

Could you stand up afterwards?:ROFLMAO:

I can't remember standing up but then I must have done, all I do remember is the trip home went fast but then I always drive fast with one or two of his generous G&T's. :beerchug:

Its ended up more of a Gin thread.
I tried some Islay Gin when I was on a cruise. I really thought it tasted a class above others I have tried. Its about £33 a bottle so not a cheapy.
I did bring some 85 proof White Rum back from St Vincent. It cures mouth ulcers instantly.

Love my gin, make my own sloe gin and this year will be making rhubarb gin. That's if the promised rhubarb crowns arrive for the garden. If not will be a trip to leeds to raid BIL's garden.

Slightly off the subject, but we have recently discovered Jim Beam Honey and Jim Beam Apple. £13 each from Amazon, absolutely delicious!

Stalks from new crowns should not be pulled in the first year, else you won't get any next year.

I made quince gin for Christmas but it wasn't drunk. It's been sampled by two connoisseurs who rated it as good (or better) but it's still waiting for others willing to try it!

Been moho’ing for a time now
Brandy for me, of late it’s been Bardinet, I get it from Tesco, but only when it’s on offer, as I drink it too quick ( oooooops), other than that it’s Chevalier from Aldi, very nice but not quite in the same league

Lime Cordial for me only added to water but Vinho Tinto (red wine) for Nigel, our harvest yielded 600 litres this year.
