I always think that the use of the word 'Toad' for your tow car makes it sound a bit down market.
Looking through the CC magazine (yes I know,sad) I noticed they where mentioned as a 'support car' Now doesn't sound better'
"I have a Recreational vehicle and a support car":thumb:
Any more names to uplift the Toads status? :Smile:

it is down market .they really were for shifting broken down vehicles single handed . how down market can you get?

You may scoff!. But come judgement day in 2014 when the are made legal,

i,m not scoffing have been using one since the 70,s .and lots of other forms of vehicle recovery gear.
i believe they are legal but many sold in uk arent .
the automatic reversing is wrong on many .
but its easily remedied to a legal system that works .

Always thought the name 'Toad' just came from the fact it was 'Towed' and nothing to do with the ugly amphibian
