I am pleased that my condensation thread created so much interest, and I hope beneficial to many...

As we are not lucky enough to be traveling to warmer climates this winter in our van, but are lucky enough to have drive large enough to store our van, I wonder the pro's and con's to covering the van over the next 3 months.

Is just covering the roof an idea ????

Thanks to you all...

Personally we don't cover, but use throughout winter and if leaving it unused for couple of weeks will drive it every week and wash it monthly

If budget permits a car port is ideal.. keeps the crap off, protects from UV and allows plenty of ventilation ..

I use a length of breathable roofing membrane over the windscreen and vent on the bonnet so that any rainwater/snow just runs down the bonnet and doesn't enter the engine bay, 30 seconds to put on/take off..
