Five years plus three tugging
We've just got back from a couple of weeks in Wales. Weather - predictably - was bloody awful. The sun appeared only one day out of fourteen. Good fun notwithstanding.

What I really wanted to say is this business of booking onto sites. Now I know some of you will say "Never book, always find somewhere", "Reservation? Not for me" etc, but we must have seen a dozen brethren rock up only to be turned away. And the location of the site we were in, meant that we would have been the last one of half a dozen on the sea front. Every time we drove past, each one was displaying signs saying "Full. Only Pre-Booking"

I am supposing that this is just Covid and just August, but my earnest advice is to pre-book. We also saw plenty of motorhomes and PVCs doing overnighters in laybys, and even a supermarket car park, presumably because they couldn't get a pitch.

Off season no need to book as you will find somewhere if needed. Peak holiday time . Different matter šŸ‘šŸ¤žšŸ„ƒ
