Time limit when editing a previous post - only 3 mins!?!?!?! (1 Viewer)

I've done a reply to a thread and afterwards wanted to add something to it, but by the time I'd typed it and tried to post it with the new text in, I got an 'error' message to say the time to edit it had expired! I think it was only 3 mins! Needless to say the text that I was trying to post was then lost into the ether which was annoying.

Has this just changed? I'm sure it used to be longer ....

Yes that's an option but if you want to add to or reword the original posting its not ideal and the fact that you lose the text you had just typed is very annoying.
