We have till the 23rd to wight till we go away Keep working on the van doing bits and bobs to to pass the time but it dragging in.
her in doors has a hospital appointment on the 21st or we would have bean gone the day the wee-man broke off school

Know how you feel Bill I should have been away on the 9th ,due to the ferking NHS delay tactics :cautious: not getting away till the 25th

We try to get away every other weekend just to make sure the van is ready for the proper get away's when SWMBO isn't working and I try to match it up with weekends opposite to F1 grand Prix's so even when I am waiting I have something to keep me occupied on weekends. Sorry but I never was one to wait.
 
Get away all of you even if it is only a couple of miles down the road.

i have done a lot to the van but thing i could do in two hrs now take two days when we go were taking two days to get to Dover.
and then only doing 70 mls a day so i don't get to tired but its a bimbil around the EU before we leave.
were suffering at the moment with pree holiday cant wait syndrome the wee man is walking around talking in what i think is frenchsapan getting french and Spanish mixt up and every few hrs when he comes of the x box is it time yet
I will give him credit he's worked his but of helping my get the van sorted

Bill live for today mate, tomorrow can be stolen from us in the blink of an eye, as you know. just be kind to yourself and take it very slowly without overdoing it,

We are playing camping hokey cokey this year, in, out, a few days here, a few days there because of hospital and a court case. sick and tired of sitting waiting on other people. I just want to say bollox to it all, get in the van and drive

Stay where you are as the rumour has it all roads north of the Border are blocked with the english motorhomers going on the nc500

Sounds like a great plan when you can eventually set off.

The low mileage a day is a great plan as it won’t tire you and saves more time to explore and rest in a new spot!

I’m sure you will have a lovely time ! And safe travels!?

We sail from Portsmouth to Bilbao on the 5th of August for our first ever holiday in our new (To us) MH. I am a little nervous as its all new to me but at the same time excited. We have no idea where we are going yet but sometimes that can be the best way. Roll on the 5th (y)
 
We're out and abut this weekend Arund North Yorkshire it's raining but a wet night in the van is better than a wet night at home

that's it we're on holiday at last testing the van just to make sure it all sorted abut seven weeks on the road where we will end up we don't know every day after Tuesday will be a adventure
new cam belt new fan belt water pump.
i have read somewhere that a true traveler has no set destination well we haven set a destination but just southish as a direction :D:france:and could be anywhere and no where some interesting time ahead
might start a wild family abroad blog
