We're just back from La plagne tonight. Still plenty of snow and most runs open. Very icy first thing, great skiing 10 till 2 but the lower slopes and runs back to village were porridge! Amazing sunshine everyday since Tuesday. Les arcs was great skiing and weds/thurs better conditions than La Plagne.

Be careful as lots of injuries due to conditions .... several serious knee injuries, 2 with broken ribs, 1 girl had both arms broken. Sat having a coffee and watched 4 being brought off the mountain to medical centre by skidoo stretcher in less than an hour!

Have fun and stay safe

Couldn't get a lesson till two, instructor abandoned it after an hour, conditions to bad. Went back to the flat to change in sunshine, came out 30 mins later and its overcast, and the temperature has dropped 20 degrees, we get on the bus and it starts haling, we are in tee shirts, bad mistake, made dash for the loop bar, happy hour 15€ a bottle, result!!

Just a beginner Allan, did my longest run on Wednesday with my daughter, up the fresse, down to the borsat, up that to the top and then down to the tommeuses which takes you to the bubble back to tignes. All under the guidance of Alex our ski instructor. Took about 2 hours.

This is supposed to be green, ha, someone is taking the piss.:) theirs a short free blue which I went on a few times in tignes which is less steep.

Sil and older grandson have been loving it, came down from the grand motte yesterday, while me and the daughter and younger grandson took the sensible route down via the funicular.:D

Just a few pics guys.
4 year old grandson with his skiing certificate, 3 days of lessons and he and his class are snowplowing down a blue. Amazing, kids find it so easy.

11 year old grandson just about to jump on the cable car and go to the top of the Grand Mott, and ski down with his dad.

Looking down on Val Claret, to the right you can see the frozen lake, when we arrived you could still walk across it, but that stopped on Wednesday.
