I've just found out that one of the 9 other people with whom I attended a 5 day outdoor course in Scotland last month contracted Lyme Disease from a tick bite and has been seriously ill in hospital. As stated earlier in this thread, I found two of them sticking out of my leg on the journey home. Be aware folks, be aware.
