We have just has 3 nights on a CL with electric for £11/night. We looked west, out over Thurne Dyke with about 20 /30 broads hire cruisers moored up. Lovely sunsets and The Lion PH 100 yards walk.

It occurred to me which would I rather do, spend £1000?/week on a boat or cruise the lanes and byways of Norfolk. Horses for courses I suppose, but having cruised to Holland, Shetland and the Lake District in our moho, to me there is no contest. What do you all think?

I think The Norfolk Broads are wonderful, off peak. Know the place you speak of,which is lovely. Problem with boating is you tend to be limited to a few miles either way of the mooring,so gets boring.
Very relaxing on the water though, and lots of nice pubs.
