Thule step on a Cotswold (1 Viewer)

My step doesn’t retract when I start Motorhome or push the button just inside the door.
I have been told it needs a new motor, I need some help in finding a new motor so any help would be very much appreciated

Are you sure that it is a Thule step you have as the motor is marked up as Project 2000 our also make motorised steps.

Here's suppliers for the Project 2000 motor and it ain't cheap.

Are you sure it’s not the plastic gear that’s broken? Quite a common problem I believe.

Very common and that motor looks like a windscreen wiper motor so need to track the right one down if it is the motor as it will be a third of the price.

If it is the gearing that has seared then 3D printing may be the answer to replacements.
