We have a Thule 8000 omnistore awning, I bought a G2 rafter to help in slightly windy conditions to stop it flapping etc. However the rafter comes with 3 sets of fitting brackets, I have fitted these to each end plus centre but am confused if one rafter is enough and where should I place it or do we need 2 or 3? Anyone who has the same can you help please, tried contacting Thule but no luck.

I have a Thule 8000 6 meter and use 2 rafter poles which seems to do the trick 👍

Not sure what you have got. Have you got pictures?
We bought a centre Tension rafter pole (our Omnistor is only 4m long).

It had no brackets and the pole just fitted into the convenient recesses on the Omnistor. It is spring loaded and you simply wind back the awning to increase the tension.

What we also did was to get a third leg, that you slot in place once the awning is out. We've found that it reduces the awning moving in the wind. There is a choice of two holes on the Omnistor to accommodate the third leg, I suppose you could fit two if you really wanted.

Thanks, very similar (useless) instructions that came with ours, does not stipulate if you should use 1, 2 or 3 rafters, just where tomplace the supports.
