I’m a Newbie
Hi
I am trying to find out if Thule list a 2-3 E bike rack to fit on the rear wall.
I have visited the Thule site and all there but can’t check for suitability with fitting etc.
The journey centre online say look at the Thule excellent short but they can’t commit fully to fitting.
Anyone fitted one or know ?
Wanting to fit Thule as other Thule accessories fitted to van .
Thanks
Deano

Ive just bought a short Thule Excellent bike rack for my van. Its a 2 bike rack and has a total load rating of 60kg, so if your two E bikes add up to less than this then it should be fine.
My van came with the Thule mounting bars fitted from new. I think you will need these if you havent already got them.
You can buy a kit to carry an extra bike but the total load of all your bikes will still have to be less than 60kg.

Sorry, just checked and I bought a Elite G2 short NOT Excellent. However the load rating is exactly the same as the Excellent and they are both compatible with E bikes.
I bought mine from a company called Berger in Germany.
Someone posted a 10% discount code on here before xmas and it was already heavily discounted, so I got it for what I considered a bargain - about £179 I think. I've had a quick look on their website and cant find it now.
They do come up on ebay but rarely. One sold before I bought mine for £70 but was collection only and the other side of the country to me.
I am going to fit it myself, it is easy - however I have already got the Thule mounting bars fitted from the Swift factory. If you havent got these you will have to drill and bolt through as per Thule instruction, and seal the holes properly.
I think there is a section in the instructions showing this and it shows spreader washers inside the van, with the bars bolted right through the body!
I will have a look if you want.

This is the page you need.
The good news for you is that all these fittings shown on this page are included in the box so you dont need a fitting kit. Be careful if you find a 2nd hand rack as these fittings are rarely included as they leave holes when removed.
My van has rails top and bottom already installed so fitting for me is easy.
Hope this helps.
