Thule bike rack locks.... Help....

So got a new towbar mounted Thule bike rack.

Went away the other weekend with it but we never used the bikes. I had locked the bikes so all OK.

Went away the other weekend with it but we never used the bikes. I had locked the bikes so all OK.

Oops pressed wrong button before finishing...
Got home put the bike rack back into garage and put bikes away. We are going away for a week tomorrow, so put the rack back on the towbar....but major problem... the keys will not fit into the locks to a)secure to tow ball, b)to unlock the clamps ..... The clamps are shown as in the “locked” position, but I can turn the knob and undo one of the clamps but on the other it rotates freely without undoing the clamp (which is what it should do....) but none of the 3 matched keys will fit into the locks to unlock them to allow me to secure the bikes....

Why not????? They did 2 weeks ago... i have put in silicone spra but the key will not actually push into the slotted opening... Wierd....... I could imagine a problem with one lock but not all three.... The 3 matched keys came with the rack which was new and did work, but no longer..

Try turning the keys around in the locks.. sometimes they only work one way

I was trying everything.... and then the Beauty Terrorist intervened.... she produced a key and they opened a treat.....

How???? She used the right key and I was using a set from a different rack...

What a dipstick!!!!!!!!!

Now hugely embarrassed and having to listen to the Beauty Terrorist taking the micky relentlessly..

Damn!
