We have a Thule wind out awning on our Burstner. I cannot get the legs to lock in a down position. There are silly little plastic catches which are supposed to lock with “a click” anybody else had trouble with a Thule awning.

Wind out your awning drop down the legs adjust to correct height then pull / bend the plastic clips upwards to lock the leg!

Thanks Simon, did try that but was afraid of breaking the plastic fitting, will try again when the wind drops.

Yes,
I thought I would break mine too.
WD40 solved the problem, just work it in slowly and remove the excess as best you can.

BTW
Even now they don't click.
but they lock in place.

I totally agree with ‘they feel flimsy and will break’, I thought the same but 6 years on still think they will snap but haven’t yet ?

same here , but brand new , was convinced it would break , looked on YouTube , it works fine , just goes against the grain to put so much force into a bit of plastic ?
