The new one fitted works fine except the buzzer no longer works , I believe there should be a plunger/switch that actuates the buzzer when ignition is turned on , I’m struggling to find any mention of said component no photos no exploded view no wiring
diagrams any ideas ?
thanks

Surely whoever fitted the new step would be the starting point to ask the question?

I find the Thule slide out step useless because they all seem to fail after time. Crud and gunge gets in the works. I took off the bottom cover, disconnected the broken gears and use it manually. No problem now, had to disconnect the buzzer though.

Gaston aires I think you hit the point with "crud and gunge".
If step fitted to PVC fit mud flap to front wheels, and if further back fit a piece of rubber in front of step to act as a mud flap to stop "crud and gunge" getting onto mechanism. ( we have both )
7yrs now on our current one with no issues at all...

Baden87 There is a wiring diagram for an Thule Omnistep , you can download , on page 2 of the Motorhome Technical Articles section of the Resources that is in the menu of this site. (If this is the type of step you have)

Baden87 On the far left of the top blue line on this page there is a 3 x line sign , (to the left of whats new) if you go there it will open the menu and if you then go to Resources that will take you to the Motorhome technical articles section and you need page 2 ( Sorry but I do not know how to put it here for you)
