I've searched to no avail ..... So what's it for?
I'm guessing some sort of storage awning gizmo?
I've no intention of using it, just being curious ....

2014 Ixeo Time, BTW .....

Not sure which model you've got but they all have the channel on the back, it's not for an awning but just a standard part of their construction, you can see it on this one.

That's the badger!
It just struck me as an odd 'design feature' if there was no specific use for it ......

It's for hanging German salamis on to keep them fresh whilst driving.

Threaded, in that you can thread something in, as opposed to threaded that you can screw something in .....

I knew what I meant! :)

Sorry Mel , but seeing as you are name calling, don't see why you have to be so clever in seeing a threaded channel that has no threads, makes no sense.

You didn't look at the image I posted above then  and read my posting about it  ... it's the channel into which, if it was a caravan channel, you'd thread the piping for an awning etc ... not a screw thread.

Nothing clever about it at all just that I knew instantly what was meant. :p

I didn't until I saw the picture and I wasn't being pedantic (something that I am normally prone to being :)).
