.
Well removed stickers to one side now and removed ALL the glue.

left now with a shadow. Tried G3 cutting paste as it can still be seen.

now wet sanding with 400 and then 800 wet and dry then a good going over with G3. And you can still see the faint outlines where the old stickers used to be.

I fitted a new 240 volt inlet a short while ago so removed the sticker started sanding till you saw nothing but went through the skin.
so the whole Moho has faded over time.

my options are see if I can hide it with some stickers .
respray the whole lot.
refit the original stickers.
or live with the very faded areas.

Still yet to decide but thinking a respray is not an option although it would look nice in a silver grey.
but still not an option.

I think a few alternative stickers may avert the eye.
and rest can just be battle scars.

image 2 shows what’s left after the sticker has been removed .
the outline is dirt that formed around the sticker.

image one I have removed the sundance sticker sanded and polished.

Should keep you going for a while. Way out of my remit.
Phil
The other side has a lot more obstructions so could take longer.

then there is always the back and front that could be interesting ..

I doubt that you will ever get rid of the marks. I think the graphics 'hide' the paint from sunlight and prevent changes that happen to paintwork over the years. Now you have exposed areas that have not been subject to those changes.

I had a vehicle that had had commercial lettering and despite all of my efforts it was still visible at certain angles. A good polishing diminished it considerably for a while but as the polish weathered the visibility of the words returned.

Lenny HB's suggestion of new graphics or a respray are probably your only answers.

Don't know how he dare do it, pretty soon have nothing left.
I am or was a GRP laminator for just about anything that was made in glass fibre so no problems for me in the slightest.

inside and on-site works nothing is impossible to do or repair in GRP.
Providing you know what your doing.

the alloy panels front top roof. Rear top of roof are as you said posing a bit of a problem so it’s going to be just G3 and see how it goes . Any problems and it’s cured by a couple of vinal strips of both red and grey.
and a Swift sticker. (y)

as for the ally top rear
G3 removed the lines after the graphics were striped off then the glue removed with Acetone.
a quick going over with the G3 polish and it’s sorted .
easier than I thought.
so now that’s one side and the rear sorted. So Half way with the sticker removing process.

there is a dent in the top section
I am just going to leave it as is unless there is a magic filler sticker.

tried suction to pull it out but no luck so far. Might try later.

strange but true it looks bigger now it’s been striped and cleaned image 2.
