We are staying at this campsite in a few weeks time over our anniversary and I am looking for somewhere special for Sunday lunch. Any ideas from those who were at the last meet - within cycling distance. Sorry BBQ is not on the agenda.

Wetherspoon's in bridport and a pasty in west bay were the extent of our culinary delights. Both ok in their own right but I dont think I would get away with either for an anniversary meal.

Just down from the site is the tiny village of Eype, we have had a very acceptable Sunday roast at the above, the is also the New inn where we have enjoyed meals. Further afield there are a few options in West Bay, and if you take the walk across the fields into Bridport the George hotel is very good.

Our go to place for special occasions is the Anchor at Burton Bradstock. I understand the Three Horseshoes is very good too.
