but my daughter and two grandkids are coming down plus son is down on leave from the army and ive just been out and bought him a car (suprise!) passed his test last week and our other grandson is also with us this weekend soooo were gonna be busy:shout:

That's great, It's a memory that will stay with him for the rest of his life.

We may or may not be able to leave our kids a bit of cash when we pop our clogs, but if we leave them lots of good memories they will be rich.

Not much use to anyone in the UK, but heading to Cabopino (near Marbella, Spain) for the weekend.

Indoor heated pool, two minutes to the beach and harbour for restaurants etc.

Great Gable

Looks like we'll be up Great Gable for Remembrance Sunday. Will park up overnight at Honister Slate Mine ready for an early start (9 am ?) to arrive at the summit for 11 am.
Probably have saturday in Keswick and try to park up at Honister before dark. Hope we don't meet anyone coming down the pass as we are going up it !

It's VERY cold here but crisp and dry at the moment.

Left Dover on Wednesday with Ray and Joan (Rayv8) - taken us 3 days to get here via Honfleur and Le Mans - we've had a lot of laughs along the way! More of that in another post we'll do later!
