THIS week I bought

New van so there has been a flurry of purchases since we came back from our first big trip to France:
  1. awning tie down kit
  2. electric kettle
  3. remoska
  4. external windscreen cover (because the internal one is rubbish and doesn't cover all the windows....)
  5. one rain blocker side panel for the awning - can't afford more than one after all that lot above.:LOL::LOL:

A popular thread on other forums so if no one minds I'll kick it off here unless anyone has a problem with it?OR does such exist already
This week after endless buying extras over the last 20 months I have bought what I expect to be the last bullet in the clip before trading up when we can afford it
Air suspension! and after much deliberation I concluded that Dunlop sold by Marcle is best bang for buck and wifey picked it up from the post office yesterday for me.
I arrived home from my out of town job this evening like a child at Christmas and had it unwrapped in no time.
I'm immediately impressed with just how substantial the brackets are and the bellows are very big in diameter to increase stability.
Cant wait for a good weather day off work to fit! Instructions are child's play and I will park the back on the quatro's for a bit of crawling space :thumb:
Received and fitted new mattresses from Custom mattress ,they are great ,made to measure and swiftly delivered , bliss

Did you know that you need 2 triangles for Spain?

BTW this thread is fine to go off topic "Dynamic" it will always revert due to the title so please discuss your purchases at length
Triangles are out now in Spain, flashing lights that stick on the roof or bonnet are now required. Check it out, I think Amazon sell them.

Not quite true.

"In Spain, the traditional warning triangle for indicating a vehicle breakdown or accident will be replaced by the V-16 emergency beacon starting January 1, 2026. Until then, both the triangle and the V-16 beacon can be used, but from that date onward, only the V-16 will be permitted."

I ordered bespoke external windscreen/ window thermal covers, they have lovely trees and northern lights design - rather expensive but soooo pretty. Our Reimo internal blinds work fine but still bleed a little light at the bottom of the screen plus the thermal qualities will help loads in the winter.
There you are my purchase and justification all in one small paragraph😂😂 ps I’ve not told hubby yet 🫣 I’m putting off the expected ‘how much!!!’

Don't forget, you'll need to eat all the cheese before you come back!
🧀:france:

The wine and liqueur is completely at your discretion though
:wine:
Interestingly, when we came through the tunnel, nobody was interested in whether we had meat, cheese, cigarettes, wine or anything else for that matter. Passports were checked and 'have a nice journey ' was said and on we went.

We were pulled over for a cavity search ... the van that is - looking for stowaways.

I bought a Marcle set and fitted it meself. Piece of Pee and worked a treat.

however back to the Thread,

THIS WEEK I BOUGHT A DYSON VACUM CLEANER :moon::moon: To all those that don't agree that this is the best product on the market, my lady friends told me so :Eeek::thanks:
Apparently, Dyson's are supposed to be very good at sucking.

I was down at Plymouth Mail depot today and one of the lads pointed at one of the female staff and said that she was like a Dyson. Being a bit naive, I said "What do you mean?" and the reply was "A Dyson can suck all day long!".............I then asked if she was single, as I can't afford a Dyson!!!!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

This week we bought 8 boxes of matches for the MH having searched in 6 shops in France for a week without success.:LOL::LOL::LOL:
I hope they're to use in it rather than set fire to it!
