Saw a guy using these wireless, rechargeable security cameras on an RV in the States on a YouTube video and found they were available to the UK so I bought a couple which arrived in 3 or 4 days.

They are WiFi operated and linked into our MiFi unit on our van which in turn reports to our mobile phones either by push notification or email, or both when movement is detected by their PIR's.
The camera record to a SD card when the PIR triggers and you can record footage on your phone while viewing. You can also listen and talk via the microphone and speaker on the cameras.

There are two mounting options and I have used the magnetic base so the cameras can be removed when travelling.

They could be ideal for those with motorhomes in storage.

Nothing much if they bring a step ladder with then, and they happy are with the alarm going off drawing attention to themselves, plus how would they know that they are removable as pretty well all CCTV cameras are well secured and as you now know they are magnetic you naturally think they can be nicked but the thief is unlikely to known that fact so the likelihood of trying to remove them is lessened, but personally I see the positives of fitting them over the negatives.

Having been a CCTV engineer for many a year, I know that 9 out of 10 wrong-ans will at some point look directly into a camera and the majority of wrong-ans will be local and known by the local constabulary.

I agree the "wrong ones are known by the police" but the police will do nothing.

Nothing too technical; Inspired by a.n.other RR owner, (thank you Mark) ordered a folding hinge for the side table because I leaned on the original and it broke (replaced it with another feeble plastic one but sturdy metal it the way forward) ? some bunting and a string of solar powered led lights. - now that’s MotorhomeFun !?

Do you mean you had this:

316740

and have got this:

If so, be aware that you need 2 of the metal ones as they replace the existing hinges, they also come in 2 lengths.

Does it allow you to navigate to a point on the map or do you have to input the name of the destination? We use our TomTom a bit like pin the tail on the donkey.....where shall we go next? Zoom out, close your eyes, touch the screen and we're off.

Why do you need a sat nav? Surely you can just drive and see where you end up. To answer your question though, I'm not sure, I don't think so, I always have a plan when I go anywhere. Is it worth £260 to be able to do that? I don't think so, personally. You could always stick a pin in a paper map and enter the destination.

Oh poo. And yes. And there’s me thinking I had achieved something. Aah well, the bunting will be nice ???‍♀️??
:D ... don't feel too bad, I bought one and when I came to fit it found out I needed 2 due to the way that it pushes the flap upwards and outwards, fortunately it was from a place local to me (O'learys) so I just went back and got another.

I bought a DB2 tracker. Fitted it in 5 minutes and it works a treat. I think I need to find a place for it which isn't as obvious as on top of the leisure battery. Ideas anyone?

I think it needs to be uncovered to obtain the gps signal.

Yes its gps and gsm.
You can Bury the unit somewhere out of site / reception, but the 2 aerials must not be hidden as the need reception, luckily these come with a decent length of cable, in our last mh I had ours buried way up under the dash with the 2 antennas like this at the base of the window screen

I got a similar pump to that from either Aldi or Lidl (can't remember which!) but you have to be very careful that it can't wobble/cockle over in use as it can crack the thread that the securing ring screws to that keeps the 'up and down' bit in the bottom bit.
