and, if you tried VERY hard, you could get camera shots similar to that in the UK. at certain times of year, we even have our own mini 'Barrier Reef' off Norfolk I'm told, (interesting pics though.)![]()

and totally agree with you too, but i expect you can say that about most countries as they all have diverse landscapes, but i think where spain trumps us is with better, warmer and sunnier weather most years..
so where is this aussie type 'barrier reef' then?

The white area is the salt flats near Torrevieja.

but the 'barrier reef' i was asking after was the hobos post on where is the one in norfolk, bet theres no tropical fish there though..

Pleased to say since we started going to Spain only a few years ago we have found some fabulous places.
I vaguely remember when the MCZ was announced it created a bit of a stir amongst the local boats who were losing their shellfishing rights in the affected zone.well, googled and found it, thank you..
