Parked up wild camping in the loveliest little bay.
Perfect location and the French van opposite decides to go out and save his space.
No wonder the locals get pi??ed off with motorhomers.
Felt like putting all his stuff in the rubbish bin.

Maybe took lessons from sun bed Germans ;)

If It was me I would move his stuff off pitch.pile it up in a big heap at the side.

Bloody funny if the dustcart turned up, emptied the bin and took that lot as well!

I could watch that and laugh:LOL:

And helpfully point out what happened when the guy came back :ROFLMAO:

Tried that on a CAMPSITE came back and some German Van had parked where we had been and was using our power cable, chairs and step. Thought that they were provided by the Campsite. I was not amused.

The cheek of some people us amazing at times.

I'd have parked right alongside it so all that was behind my van blocked out of sight.

How can you be sure that the van has not been nicked?

Looks rather isolated, not very popular.

and they may even come back for the rest, later...

looks like plenty of room, there are no marked pitches on whatppear to be just a beach car park, apparently not busy. Bit cheeky I agree and I wouldn't do it but I don't think I would be too concerned abut it.

Bad name?

I strongly suspect the only folk who would get upset about this matter are motorhomers.

In my experience, most non motorhomers think we are a pretty sad and strange lot anyway, spending holiday time sitting on chairs outside "caravans" in the cold!

JJ

Might have gone to empty waste and fill up with water at a campsite or get gas and didn't want to load all the stuff back in the van.....

...well he could have.....:)

That's possible

I just wonder why a particular spot is so important to them and why they cant just park on another spot when they return ....or even better move to another place lol

I dont think parking across the information boards is the best place to park anyway it means any day visitors etc cant get near the boards without walking round the guys motorhome and probably feeling like they are intruding.

Folk are strange

Maybe he has a bad memory and is short-sighted. Be sympathetic.;)

Don't know what you're all mumphin about. The motorhome is still there.
It's visiting Klingons and, obviously, it's in stealth mode whilst they're off down the beach.

I must own up to having done that on a paying Aire except I left the boss sitting a chair in the spot, that scared everyone away.:)

Maybe the bushes protect him/her/them from the wind and sand blowing in from the beach...

... also blocks the view of nosey buggers when emptying their cassette.

That's true

Not like the French to park alone though ....they like to cuddle

Wont sell many oranges with that attitude :)

My OP was done to try and highlight one of the reasons why we are facing a crackdown on wild camping down in the Costas.
Before I also incur the wrath of the “ pay all that money and won’t pay campsite fees” mob, let me say that I often do when they are not full up.
. I wasn’t trying to be a miserable old git .
