It has been nearly five days now since I collected my new home/van and I seem to be spending hours and hours on end sitting still and just looking around it with a stupid grin on my face.

There is so much to learn.

I took a hour yesterday to discover that the switch by the door was for heating the waste water tank when the temperature drops below 5°C.

Did you know that when you are driving along the A/C doesn't cool any air unless you switch it on.

Only just found the switch for the light in the shower...

It goes on and on.

Goodness knows how Newbies manage!

18 months in and I still cannot remember what all the light switches do, even worse when Mrs CC switches one as I have to go around all of them to switch it off🤬🤬

If you have a handbook you’ll find even more bits and pieces that you’ve missed, had my van six years now and still discovering.

As above...learning all the while.
Don't think you will ever get to know it all really? I still get confused over the handset for the lights !
Enjoy it JJ

Don’t buy loads of must have or that will come in handy, just start with the basics and only buy what you need. We have had 17 vans over 40 years and everytime we have changed the van the amount of stuff that is never used!!! Remember weight is fuel and fuel is (loads of) money.

Nooooo! Surely it is compulsory for all MH owners to buy loads of stuff that we will never use.
