I have a Thetford N145a fridge, it works but the internal light does not (I didn't know it had one until I popped my head in to look). The bulb is not blown, I have done some research and it would seem this particular fridge has a Reed switch that detects if the door is open or closed via magnetism (I assume the magnet used for this purpose is in the door seals). The stories I have read would suggest that over time the Reed switch becomes magnetised and the circuit remains closed (e.g. the light never goes off). This particular instance would seem to be the reverse of that, so not quite sure it is the same thing. Can anyone offer some advice? - I know I don't need the light, but I have OCD - lol
