Thetford Fridge N3000 problems (1 Viewer)

Our 4 year old (out of warranty) Thetford Fridge (N3000) in our AS Broadway has suddenly developed a dim look to the LED touch screen. At the moment the fridge still works, it is just difficult to see the symbols on the screen. The dim images are also shimmering a bit!

Has anyone had a similar problem and if so, how was it sorted? - perhaps a new expensive LCD display and pcb is require? Could be over £200 including fitting!

Any thoughts

Have you tried isolating the power for 5 minutes, works with most gadgets these days.

If you mean switching it off for a while and then switching it back on again, then yes tried that, but still no difference. I originally thought it needed the six AA batteries replacing, so I removed the battery case under the display and lo and behold no batteries and no contacts, it’s a dummy set up!
