I have a Thetford N90 fridge in a Hymer Exsis-I 562.

I keep losing power at the control panel due to the 2A fuse blowing on the circuit board. Works ok on gas or hook up for a while but blows when I close the fridge door or even just by opening freezer compartment.

Very frustrating as it is a pain getting into the circuit board at rear of fridge. Any ideas welcome.

Thanks

I'm no expert on elctrickery ... but it seems to me it could be the interior light or its switch shorting out somewhere.

Change the fuse for a time delay or slow blow 2A fuse. Still has the protection that a fuse offers but eradicates any problems that a 'surge' in power might bring (i.e blowing the fuse straight away)

Not sure what a slow blow 2A fuse is. Changed fuse again this evening; working ok on gas for an hour or so, then blows! Really frustrating.
