Thetford casstte toilet valve -top tip for repair (1 Viewer)

Hi all

I had a problem with my casstte toilet flushing itself every time a tap was used.

Worked out the valve was at fault , but thetford want the the thick end of £40 for one.... once out I could see it was a standard nylon valve such as in dishwashers etc.

I found one online for £17 including postage from these people



You need the 10.5 mm one 12 volt dc. I ordered 12 mm one which fits but hose is tight

Good contact but I will have lost it by the time I need one.
I would personally like to have a remote switch so that I do not have to pray down to the open loo to push the flush button. I might make something up to do it ONE DAY.
