has anybody had trouble with the blade on a c3 cassette been very stiff its my neighbours van cant seem to find any info on c3 blade probs any help appreciated

Give the cassette a mega blast with a jet washer inside then lubricate blade and blade rubber seal with Thetford lubricant. Without lubricant the operation becomes virtually impossible over time.

Jet wash can dislodge the mechanism inside.
Better to dismantle the slide (ring of screws) and clean properly then lube.

ok weve put in new seal but how are you meant to get to the mechanism does it come out easyly are there any videos anywhere about it thanks in advance

There’s a few on YouTube about how to change all the o rings and refurbish. The spay machzoneman mentions is silicon which is good for rubber so you can also use it on your slide out step or anything that squeaks.
Thetford pink toilet flush liquid and the pink spray is designed to help the blade to do its job and lube the toilet bowl to help keep the toilet bowl clean.

Don't know how old your cassette is but there are two types of seal , both will go in but if it's the wrong one it is very stiff and no amount of lube will help , think it's about 97 when it changed.
