Is it possible to just drill through it and fit a self tap screw? or two?

Hi they are the two screw covers that also Gide the cover over the top seal can’t glue it or screw them as don’t want them to leak have emailed Thetford no answer from them tried Ebay and most on web Andy

Maybe your way out of what could become a messy situation would be to look at the fresh up kits that are on sale which include new tank and seat

Hi I know about them but I have renewed seals and workings I keep trying till after Christmas if they don’t come up I have to go for that thanks

hi been following you plight i can see no reason why you you cannot use a thin bead of sealant /adhesive as advised. carefully applied shuold not affect the sliding section . mine is in storage at this time so im in the dark , if screws are involved a little sealant around the holes and on the screw threads should prevent leaks .where are you based

been motorhoming now for some time unusuall spares the parts you require i have never seen on thetford sites and as rare a rocking horse droppings on sites, if you do as i suggest i can for see no problems and if screws are used the slide should not be affected and should not leak.

Doubt you'll find the individual part but complete s/h cassettes come up for sale cheaply from time to time (on here and on eBay). Here for example:
